So…I believe that messages come to us in many ways. Ted Andrews is an author that writes books about animal spirit guides. I highly recommend reading his books if this is something you are interested in. While I don’t necessarily have a specific guide, I do believe that they can bring us messages. I also appreciate how Ted Andrews describes when they are in fact sending a message. Usually it’s in in threes. It doesn’t have to be the same exact situation each time. It could start out with a dream of an animal, then the minute you turn the TV or Radio on, the animal is right there, and finally you overhear a conversation while riding on the train to work about this animal.

I have had a couple of animal messages through out my life; most of the time I get it and it’s done. There is one animal messenger that I just can’t seem to get rid of and it’s getting worse and worse. Mine is the spider. Now, if I didn’t have a traumatic event dealing with spiders when I was younger, I don’t know that this would be as much of an….uh….irritation and it is. I have been having dreams about spiders, they are invading my house, they are in my car, they are everywhere (looking around myself to make sure one isn’t going to drop on my head or climb up my leg). They were coming around quite a bit when I first wanted to start this blog. For me, the spider is more of a shadow messenger. Looking for me when I am fighting/resisting the things that I want to do and would probably be pretty….uh…sufficient at. Again…not entirely sure where this blog is going…but after all the spiders that have entered into my life, apparently it needs to be be a constant and have some aim.

Of course, this all happens on summer vacation, while the kids are home and summer camp prices are through the roof!! I acknowledge the reboot needing to happen, but how do I schedule it in, what am I looking to do, what can I do, what’s my purpose? Here we are….a restart, during a pretty busy time, and no real focus. I’m excited to see how this progresses. Stay tuned!!
